Katy Scott is an journalist and writer who has just relocated to Sydney, Australia .
Before moving to Sydney, Katy was the editor and feature writer for Perth wining and dining publication Menu Magazine, where she had a great time learning the ropes of publishing. The rest of her working hours were spent at a major mining company, doing everything from writing letters to designing Christmas cards.
Katy’s undergraduate degree (completed in 2006) was a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in Film and Video. A year later she hit the books again, emerging in 2007 with a Graduate Diploma in Communications specialising in Journalism (a definite mouthful of a qualification).
Katy loves to write articles - anything from news stories and music reviews to humorous features, fun fillers and blogs - as well as sub-editing, web maintenance and fiddling around with images in Photoshop. As for proofreading; some would call her obsession with clean copy bordering on psychotic.
Katy is currently a feature writer and editorial assistant for Beautiful Country Crafts magazine.
