Two weeks ago I received my first commission for a paid article. After researching, interviewing, writing, and answering calls at 7am due to the time differences across Australia, my article about Australian bioprospecting legislation was published today on BioTechnologyNews.net.
I interviewed several people for the article, including WA Minister for Resources and Industry and Enterprise Francis Logan. I conducted this interview in person, after a biotech industry update at UWA’s Molecular Sciences building. Logan is the most, shall we say, ‘important’ person I’ve interviewed so far.
Hopefully BTN will like me enough to keep sending more commissions my way.
